Elan Kaplan

Elan Kaplan is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and technology operations. Currently serving as Executive Director of Engineering for eCommerce at Ingram Micro since January 2024, Elan leads the software development of the XVantage Platform. Previously, Elan held multiple senior leadership roles at Walmart Global Tech from January 2019 to May 2025, including Sr. Director II of Engineering and Senior Director of Software Engineering, driving significant growth in the Online Grocery/Pickup & Delivery business and overseeing the development of essential systems for Walmart associates. Elan's career also includes serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at TouchCommerce/Nuance Communications and Vice President of Software Engineering at Everyone Counts, Inc. Elan is a founding member of the San Diego Tech Hub and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester.
