Scott D. Sherman

EVP, HR at Ingram Micro

Scott D. Sherman is currently the EVP of HR at Ingram Micro. Scott has previously served as the EVP of Human Resources at Allergan and as the VP of Global Rewards and HR Operations at Medtronic.

At Allergan, Scott led Global Human Resources for a Fortune 500 company of nearly 12,000 employees and served as a member of the Executive Committee. Their areas of focus included rationalization of global rewards programs, global expansion with a focus on emerging markets, CEO and senior leadership succession planning, development of coordinated global employee development programs, and the evolution towards contemporary performance and talent management frameworks.

At Medtronic, Scott was responsible for all global rewards programs, including executive compensation, base pay, and both short-term and long-term incentive programs, as well as health, retirement, life, disability, wealth accumulation and wellness programs. Scott also served as liaison and secretary to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. Their areas of focus included development of the Corporation’s first global total rewards philosophy, driving increased pay for performance, and improved sales incentive design and ROI.

Scott D. Sherman has a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs/Economics from The George Washington University and a Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
