David Soulsby

David Soulsby has had a long and successful career in the medical billing and coding industry. David began their career in 2002 as a Reimbursement Manager at Matrix Management Solutions, LLC. In this role, they managed a department of 10 staff responsible for reviewing reimbursements from contracted insurance companies for physician clients. David was able to recoup over $250K/year in underpaid reimbursements from insurance companies, and developed and implemented coding and billing compliance for Matrix billing/coding departments.

In 2012, they moved to Premiere Medical Resources as a Medical Billing Coding Manager. In this role, they managed the physician coding department for Western Reserve hospital. David was responsible for all aspects of a coding department, including chart audit review, daily coding reviews pre and post-claims submission, and implemented the ICD-10 conversion from ICD-9 for the entire physician group.

In 2016, they took on a role as a Software Coding Training Specialist at Western Reserve Hospital. In this role, they were an eClinical Works certified software trainer to physicians and office staff, and provided workflow and productivity enhancements. David also conducted new employee training for eClinical Works and Microsoft Outlook and OneNote.

Most recently, in 2021, they took on a role as Medical Billing Manager at inHealth Lifestyle Therapeutics. In this role, they created and implemented the billing department for this start-up. David created KPI's, A/R follow-up process, which reduced A/R by 80% in the first year, staffed department and provided education and mentorship to the staff. David also provided billing and coding support for physician clients and inHealth staff, workflow improvement and support to the clinical team for documentation and coding principles.

David Soulsby attended Herzing University from 1996 to 1996, studying Medical Billing. David did not attain any additional certifications.
