Maxime Sermesant has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a PhD Student role at Epidaure Research Group, INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France in 1999. In 2003, they became a Lecturer at King's College London, and in 2004, they took on an Honorary Research Fellow role at University College of London. From 2005 to 2013, they were a Research Scientist at INRIA. In 2013, they co-founded Therapixel and in 2017, they became Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at inHEART. Finally, in 2019, they became Chair of AI & Biophysics at 3IA Côte d'Azur.
Maxime Sermesant obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Mathematics from CentraleSupélec in 1996-1999. Maxime then completed their Master in Mathematics, Vision, and Learning from Ecole normale supérieure in 1998-1999. Subsequently, they obtained their PhD in Control, Signal and Image Processing from Université Côte d'Azur in 1999-2003. Lastly, they are currently pursuing their Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from Université Côte d'Azur.
