James Ypma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and project leadership within the manufacturing and recycling industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Project Manager at Initiative Foods since September 2011, James Ypma led the manufacturing rebuilding project following a significant plant fire in 2016 and successfully established a BRC certified flexible packaging production line for baby food. Prior to this role, James Ypma was the Plant Manager at Electronic Recyclers, overseeing plant operations in Dallas, TX, and opening a new facility in Badin, NC, achieving multiple industry certifications. James Ypma's early career includes internships focusing on energy policy and community energy projects, supported by an M.B.A. from California State University, Fresno, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.
