Joseph Lagoni is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in integrated media planning and communications. Currently serving as Media Director at Initiative since June 2021, Joseph leads T-Mobile's cross-functional teams and manages a multi-billion dollar annual media budget, driving the transition to a digital-first video strategy and overseeing major sponsorship initiatives. Previously, in the role of Associate Director, Joseph played a key role in executing cause marketing initiatives and managing an evolving team structure. Prior experience includes positions at Carat, where Joseph supervised global communications planning for Microsoft’s Xbox, and Media Assembly, where responsibilities included national media planning for 20th Century Fox theatrical releases. Joseph has also held media planning roles at Kelly Scott Madison and has a foundational background in marketing and project management from earlier positions, including an internship at Let It Be Us. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
