Senior Media Buyer, Digital Partnerships

Melissa Payne has extensive experience in media buying, currently serving as a Senior Media Buyer for Digital and Video Partnerships at Initiative since April 2019, managing campaigns for high-profile clients such as Applebee’s and Amazon. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Media Buyer for video partnerships, handling accounts for Amazon across various sectors including Marketing, Retail, Web Services, and Business. Earlier experiences include a position as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UCSB Department of Communication and a Note Taker for the UCSB Disabled Students Program, in addition to a social media internship at Santa Barbara Matchmaking, LLC. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UC Santa Barbara and an Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Pasadena City College.
