Allan Wehnert

Allan Wehnert has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Allan currently serves as the CEO and Co Founder of Alteral Therapeutics, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Vice President at Initiator Pharma from December 2020. Allan also founded their own company, Strategic Decision Insight, where they served as the Founder and CEO starting in May 2020. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Allan worked as an Executive private equity advisor for Private Investors from August 2019. Allan spent a significant portion of their career at Lundbeck, where they held various senior leadership roles. Allan was the Senior Vice President, Psychiatry Disease Strategy from January 2017 to May 2019. Prior to that, they held positions such as Senior Vice President, R&D Project Management & Business Management, Vice President, R&D Project Strategy & Portfolio Management, and Divisional Director, Corporate Project Management R&D. Allan also had experience at Janssen Inc. where they worked as a Senior Clinical Project Manager from August 1992 to June 1995.

Allan Wehnert's education history begins in 1982 when they attended Helsinge Amts Gymnasium, where they obtained their Student degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. From 1985 to 1990, Allan attended Danmarks Farmaceutiske Universitet, where they pursued their Master's degree in Pharmacy. Following this, from 1990 to 1992, they enrolled at Lund University to pursue studies for dr phil in Molecular Biophysics.
