Aashish Dewangan

Aashish Dewangan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. AASHISH started their career at Spardha, IIT (BHU) Varanasi as a Coverage Head in 2016. AASHISH then served as the Cine Secretary at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they became an International Exchange Student at National Sun Yat-Sen University, where they conducted research on improving the efficiency of dye-sensitized photodetectors.

In 2019, Aashish worked as a Project Manager at Renew Oceans, where they prepared an outline for a plastic to fuel conversion project and obtained a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Renew Oceans and IIT BHU for the pilot project. AASHISH also organized a waste audit to understand plastic waste generation on campus.

Aashish then joined i3 Consulting Pvt. Ltd. as a Business Analyst, where they worked on implementing the SAS Anti Money laundering solution for Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia and developed custom anti-money laundering scenarios.

In the same year, they worked as a Decision Science Analyst at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd), where they had end-to-end ownership of Ola money Postpaid underwriting and developed credit risk prediction models. AASHISH also developed credit limit assignment strategies for postpaid users, resulting in decreased risk exposure.

Starting in 2021, Aashish joined Vedantu as an Associate Product Manager, where they played a key role in launching in-app search and an in-house search engine. AASHISH also reduced spam and profanity in the in-class chat and created data pipelines for audio-video streaming data sync.

Currently, Aashish is working at Inito as a Senior Product Manager, where they are responsible for managing and overseeing product development and strategy.

Aashish Dewangan completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi. AASHISH attended the institution from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, Aashish has obtained several certifications, including "Retention + Engagement" and "Product Management Foundations" from Reforge in August 2022 and May 2022 respectively. AASHISH has also earned certifications in "Using Python to Access Web Data" and "Python Data Structures" from Coursera in July 2021 and January 2021 respectively.
