Melanie Hussong, Ph.D has extensive experience in the life sciences field. Melanie started their career as a Research Assistant and PhD Student at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute in 1997 and eventually progressed to roles such as Visiting Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Their work encompasses responsibilities like developing methodologies for genetic mutation detection, training staff, and collaborating with key opinion leaders in various organizations. Currently, they serve as the Scientific Director at Inivata, overseeing pre and post-sales support and conducting training sessions on liquid biopsy offerings.

Melanie Hussong, Ph.D received their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from LaTrobe University, Melbourne, Australia in 1993. Melanie obtained a B.Sc. (HONS) from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia in 1994. Melanie then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurogenetics from the University of Melbourne from 1999 to 2003.
