Michael Grela

Michael Grela is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public health, reputation management, and social impact. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, Michael supports Dr. Christopher Palmedo in a graduate social marketing course. As the Executive Vice President and Head of Reputation, Public Health & Social Impact at Inizio Evoke, Michael oversees a diverse client portfolio, leading global efforts in health equity and corporate reputation. Michael's leadership roles in the Society for Health Communication include positions such as Past President, where strategic support is provided to the Executive Leadership Team, and President, where initiatives to advance health communication have been spearheaded. Michael's prior experience includes leading reputation and social impact initiatives at Evoke Kyne and a progression of roles at KYNE and Hill & Knowlton. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and Economics from SUNY Brockport.
