Bassem El-Tibi

Bassem El-Tibi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was as the Director of Technology Strategy and Governance at Injazat since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President - Sales and Business Development in the Hybrid Cloud division at Injazat from April 2021 to December 2022. Bassem also served as the Director of Executive Account Manager at Injazat from December 2013 to April 2021.

Before joining Injazat, Bassem worked as a Senior Program Manager at Wipro from July 2012 to December 2013. Bassem also founded and partnered in the Business Consulting division at VENTURES, STARTUPS from June 2010 to February 2012. Bassem previously worked at Dubai Customs as a Program Manager for the Value Added Tax Program in the Finance department from February 2008 to April 2010.

Their career started in the United Kingdom, where Bassem worked at IBM UK LTD as a Portfolio Delivery Manager from October 2004 to February 2008. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager at Reuters UK LTD from May 2001 to September 2004, where they managed the development and delivery of a complex backend order management and permissioning system. Bassem also worked as a Project Leader and Technical Lead at Web Marketing Ltd, where they developed an advertising management system, and as an IT System Developer at Press Association, where they planned and administered applications across various technologies.

Bassem El-Tibi completed their B.Sc in Computational Mathematics from the University of Westminster between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Le Lycee National from 1977 to 1992 and earned an International Baccalaureate. Additionally, Bassem has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn including Mergers & Acquisitions in August 2023, Leading with a Growth Mindset in July 2023, and What Is Generative AI? in June 2023.
