Ussama Dahabiyeh is the Chief Executive Officer at Injazat. Before being named CEO in March 2021, Ussama served Injazat as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for more than 4 years where he was instrumental in spearheading its most successful initiatives. Ussama is a board member in Malaffi, the region’s first Health Information Exchange platform, and AIFlux, a technology company providing AI solutions for the safe and productive management of heavy assets and resources deployed in the energy sector. He is also, a board member of Khazna Data Centers the largest data centers infrastructure operator in the MENA region.
Ussama brings to his role two decades of experience in business development, management, strategy and corporate finance, 12 years of which was at executive leadership level.
Prior to joining Injazat, Ussama was a Vice President at Mubadala Investment company’s Aerospace Division. During his time at Mubadala, he held multiple roles in business development and asset management that included executive responsibilities at some Mubadala subsidiaries. Ussama started his career with Ernst & Young in audit and corporate finance.
Ussama is passionate about creating opportunities that inspire and transform the region. He believes in the power of technology and business model innovations to drive sustainable growth. He is a member of the Young Arab Leaders, a network and mentorship program for promising talents from the Arab region. He is committed to the growth and development of the startup ecosystem in the Middle East with a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, and has founded a few business ventures, spanning across diverse industries.
Ussama holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Applied Science University in Amman, Jordan and an accreditation as a Fellow Charted Accountant from England and Wales in the UK.
