Wasim Beg

Wasim Beg has extensive work experience in the field of digital transformation and innovation. Wasim started their career at Tata Consultancy Services in 2002, where they worked as a Lead Consultant until 2009. During this time, they gained expertise in business process re-engineering and best practice process implementation.

Wasim then joined SABIC as an EAM advisor for Transformation in 2009, before moving on to Siemens in 2010. At Siemens, they served as a Principal Consultant, responsible for designing and implementing complex and highly integrated digital solutions for the energy manufacturing and utility industries in the MENA region. Wasim also had extensive experience in solution design, business process analysis, and implementation.

In 2014, Wasim joined KPIT as a Principal Enterprise Architect, where they provided architectural leadership for enterprise projects.

In 2015, Wasim joined Injazat as the Head of Digital Transformation & Innovation. In this role, they supported multiple customers in assessing and strategizing digital transformation initiatives. Wasim also played a key role in developing and delivering strategic nationwide digital and smart city initiatives for the government. Their responsibilities at Injazat also included designing and productizing IoT solutions for smart cities, with a focus on use cases such as intelligent building management systems, smart parking, and smart energy.

Currently, Wasim holds the position of Director - Smart City Solutions, CTO, IoT, AI, and Digital Transformation at Injazat. Their role involves empowering enterprises and governments to transform their business processes through cutting-edge technologies like IoT and AI. With a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of emerging trends, they are dedicated to driving digital transformation and creating sustainable, intelligent communities and enterprises.

Wasim Beg attended MIT Sloan School of Management from 2018 to 2019, where they pursued a Digital Mastery degree with a focus on Internet of Things (IoT). Prior to that, they studied at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Wasim also attended Tyndale Biscoe from 1995 to 1997 and Woodland House School from 1984 to 1994, but the specific degrees or fields of study for these schools are unknown.
