We're seeking a qualified individual to join our team in Bowling Green, KY. We build e-commerce brands alongside artists and creators inspired by their content and community of followers. In this role, you'll report to the VP of Operations and spend your days working within the finance department to execute a wide variety of purchasing/buying tasks. You’ll need to thrive in a deadline-driven work environment, manage multiple projects with ease, be great at instilling confidence in others, and be a creative problem solver to always come through on promises. You'll interact daily with team members across all departments for this IN OFFICE role and represent Inked to our outside contacts. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Place purchase orders to establish or replenish inventory as needed from multiple vendors/multiple locations, ensuring timely delivery of orders and adjusting inventory levels as needed.

  • Maintain accuracy of system data and ordering controls used in the replenishment process, including order cycles, lead times, demand exceptions, substitutions, etc.

  • Participate in the development of specifications for products or substitute materials.

  • Build and maintain key relationships with a range of contacts; Work closely with vendor managers in ongoing vendor assortment, price (i.e. negotiating discounts, contracts, and formulating policies with suppliers) and logistics considerations.

  • Locate vendors of materials, supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.

  • Report defective or damaged product to vendor and maintain established reimbursement procedures as well as arrange for disposal (i.e. returning) of surplus materials.

  • Analyze reporting and review team work for errors.

  • Provide support to team in other duties as assigned.

 WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Post-secondary degree

  • Solid Microsoft Excel knowledge

  • Supply chain experience or education

  • Passion for your role in our customer’s experience and commitment to personal work ethic.
