Job description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead a team to execute vision and strategy. Ensure team members meet deadlines. Communicate job expectations, give feedback through consistent coaching and counseling, and enforce policies and procedures; Direct team on best practices.

  • Own the digital marketing strategy and the marketing calendar for all brands. Set goals and budgets for the department.

  • Establish and maintain departmental processes and workflows.

  • Prioritize work across portfolio of brands appropriately.

  • Collaborate with other department leads (ex: product development and accounting); ensure communications are coordinated and objectives are aligned.

  • Implement and monitor relevant key performance indicators (AOV, CAC, LTV, and conversion) around paid advertising, retargeting, and other marketing campaigns.

  • Assist with building the strategic plan for each brand with all stakeholders. Plan and devise marketing strategies for brands to meet sales and stretch goals.

  • Identify new opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to drive growth of marketing channels. Identify relevant market and industry trends to inform planning and decision-making.

  • Develop and execute targeted customer acquisition goals, monitoring effectiveness, and reporting on key ecommerce/subscription KPIs (sales, profit projections, pricing and distribution, churn rate, customer LTV, etc.)

  • Build working knowledge of the customer profile to better support decision making on branding and customer experience.

  • Find, analyze and filter marketing vendors for various partnerships.

  • Manage agencies and third-party marketing vendors if applicable.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • BA/BS degree; marketing emphasis a plus

  • 2+ years in digital marketing for consumer brands (ecommerce and/or experience in categories of paper goods, drinkware, and other giftables a plus)

  • Ability to lead a team, grow a team, and bring out the best in others

  • Entrepreneurial, persistent, resourceful, with the ability to learn quickly.

  • Great project management skills.

  • Organizational Skills – Demonstrates strong planning skills, prioritizing and managing conflicting demands to meet deadlines. Able to function in a fast paced environment.

  • Communication – Superb interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Builds relationships and works collaboratively in a team environment. Tailors communication to specific audience, which spans a wide range including customers, brand partners, vendors and industry experts.

  • Detail Orientation – Exhibits a high level of accuracy.
