James Barry

James Barry is a seasoned researcher in the field of environmental and fisheries sciences, currently serving as a Research Officer at Inland Fisheries Ireland since June 2016, leading the Climate Change Mitigation Research Project. Expertise includes project management, environmental monitoring, and vulnerability assessments of freshwater fish regarding climate change. Past experience encompasses participation in significant projects such as the EU-funded COMPASS project on salmonid telemetry, and the AMBER project, focusing on fish passage barriers.
