Andrew Acedo

Andrew Acedo currently serves as the Manager of Community and Impact at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, focusing on inclusive exhibitions and programs that celebrate cinema. With a background in caregiving for children with special needs through Inland Respite, Inc., Andrew also gained experience as the Production Manager for AFI FEST, enhancing the festival's renowned programming. As the Events & Outreach Director for NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, Andrew showcased films by emerging filmmakers globally. Additionally, Andrew contributed as a Script Reader for The ISA, providing feedback on screenplays. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media from UCLA.
