Guy Ettinger

Guy Ettinger has extensive experience in both software engineering and community-oriented entrepreneurship. As Co-Owner of Inman Perk Coffee since January 2005, Guy has focused on creating stylish coffee shop locations that engage with their communities and has trained staff in adhering to SCAA coffee preparation standards. In the technological sphere, Guy served as Senior Software Engineer and Director of UI at Pointivo from July 2018 to May 2023, where Guy co-invented a patent for systems generating 3D information for user navigation and applied this technology to solve industry challenges using digital twins. Previously, roles included Principal Software Development Engineer at Avid, where Guy contributed to phonetic indexing technologies, and Senior Software Engineer at Nexidia, part of a team awarded a 2015 Technical Emmy for advancements in phonetic search. Other significant positions held include Lead Software Engineer at Rockstar Power Suite and Senior Research Scientist at Applied Global Technologies. Guy holds a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
