Dharini Dedhia

Dharini Dedhia has a diverse work experience spanning from 2017 to 2023. Dharini began their career as a Marketing Intern at QS Quacquarelli Symonds, where they supported social activities and promoted their fair through social media. Dharini later worked as a Human Resources Intern at Atma - An Accelerator for Education, where they assisted with evaluation, policy-making, and recruitment.

Dharini also gained experience as a Psychology Intern at Grow2fly Child and Adolescent Counselling Centre, where they were exposed to remedial education and assisted in making worksheets and observing sessions with children with learning difficulties.

Furthermore, they worked as a Mental Health Researcher at Letters to Strangers + India, conducting research in the field of mental health. Dharini then served as an Intern at Rajiv Gandhi Medical College and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital.

More recently, Dharini worked as a Counselor at Prerana, providing psychotherapeutic services to children, parents, and caregivers from vulnerable backgrounds. Dharini also conducted training sessions for internal staff and facilitated awareness sessions for various stakeholders.

Currently, Dharini is working as a Consultant Psychologist at Amaha (formerly InnerHour).

Dharini Dedhia holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mumbai. Dharini attended the University of Mumbai from 2020 to 2022 to pursue their postgraduate studies. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Mithibai College of Arts Chauhan Institute of Science and A.J. College of Commerce and Economics. Dharini obtained their bachelor's degree between 2017 and 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dharini Dedhia has obtained certifications in Gestalt Therapy Associate and Transactional Analysis 101. Dharini received the Gestalt Therapy Associate certification from Anil Thomas | NLP & Gestalt in August 2022, and the Transactional Analysis 101 certification from ITAA- International Transactional Analysis Association in May 2022.
