Steve Schwartz

Scientist at InnerPlant

Steve Schwartz has extensive experience in the field of plant science. Steve began their career as a USDA Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they worked from September 1997 to May 2000. Steve then joined Michigan State University as a Visiting Scholar from May 2000 to April 2005. During this time, they also served as a Visiting Researcher at the National Research Council Canada from April 2002 to May 2003. Steve then moved on to Bayer Crop Science, where they worked as a Senior Scientist from April 2005 to July 2019. Currently, they are employed at InnerPlant as a Scientist, a position they have held since September 2019.

Steve Schwartz has a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from Michigan State University. Steve also holds two Bachelor's degrees, one in Biology and the other in Physical Geography, both from the University of Cincinnati.
