Dr. Bernd O. Loeser

Dr. Bernd O. Loeser has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr. Bernd O. is currently the Chief Transformation Officer at INNIO Group, a position they have held since November 2020. From 2015 to 2020, Dr. Loeser worked at THIELMANN - The Container Company, initially as the CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board & President, and later as the Co CEO & CFO, and CFO & Head of Strategy. Dr. Bernd O. was also a Member of the Group Executive Committee at HERITAGE B during the same period.

Prior to their time at THIELMANN and HERITAGE B, Dr. Loeser served as the CFO & COO, Chairman of the Executive Board & President, and Chief Restructuring Officer at Hasselblad, a Private Equity owned technology company, from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Bernd O. was also the Director of Portfolio Operations at Vorndran Mannheims Capital from 2009 to 2014, and the Chief Transformation Officer & Supervisory Board Member at Sovello from 2010 to 2012.

Dr. Loeser started their career at McKinsey & Company as a Consultant and later became a Senior Consultant from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Bernd O. then worked at Roland Berger as a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager from 2002 to 2006. Before that, they were a Project Leader at the Institute for Technology Management from 1997 to 1999.

During their time at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2006 to 2009, Dr. Loeser held various roles including Principal, Member of the local Management Board, and Operations Practice Leader Switzerland. Dr. Bernd O. was responsible for client acquisition and execution of international engagements in industries such as Industrial Goods, Automotive, Medtech, and Private Equity. Dr. Bernd O. also played a key role in establishing BCG offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Bernd O. Loeser obtained their PhD in "Internationalization of mid-size companies" from the University of St.Gallen between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Technical Engineering & Business Administration from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, they pursued a program in High-Performance Leadership at IMD in 2006. Dr. Loeser completed their secondary education at Rhoen-Gymnasium from 1983 to 1992, where they earned their Abitur with a focus on Business, Physics, Mathematics, and English.
