Niharika Bandaru

Niharika Bandaru is a sustainability expert with extensive experience in environmental policy and climate change adaptation. Currently serving as a Sustainability Catalyst for the Town of Innisfil since August 2021, Niharika is focused on developing an Integrated Sustainability Master Plan for the Lake Simcoe region. As a Board Member of the International Joint Commission's Great Lakes Water Quality Board, responsibilities include advising on the implementation of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. Prior roles include Climate Change Analyst for the Town of Essex, where Niharika led the creation of a Climate Change Adaptation Plan, and Technical Specialist at TRQSS, Inc., where Niharika performed regulatory analyses in automotive safety. Niharika holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science & Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Windsor.
