Akshay Koranne

Akshay Koranne is an experienced design professional currently serving as the Experience Design Lead at INNOCEAN India since July 2025, focusing on the development of showroom design strategies for Hyundai's retail spaces. Previously, as a Creative Director at Cheil India from January 2023 to July 2025, Akshay was responsible for retail visibility solutions and visual merchandising for Samsung stores. Akshay also has a background in academia, having worked as a Discipline Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Jain University, and held design roles at Cafe Coffee Day, BrandVak Inc., Titan Industries, and architecture firms. With a Master’s degree in Design for Retail Experience from the National Institute of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the National School of Interior Design, Akshay has developed a wide range of expertise in space planning, experience design, and retail design solutions.
