Cary Ruby

Cary Ruby has a diverse work experience in the advertising industry. Cary started working as a Copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles in 2000. Cary then moved on to roles as an Associate Creative Director/Copywriter at G&M Plumbing from 2003 to 2006, and later as an Associate Creative Director/Writer at Deutsch LA from 2006 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, Cary worked as a Freelance Creative Director/Copywriter for various companies including TBWA Chiat/Day Los Angeles, TBWA Chiat/Day New York, 180LA, Deutsch, and Weber Shandwick. Cary joined 180LA as an Associate Creative Director/Writer in 2015 and worked there until 2017. Cary then served as the Group Creative Director/Managing Partner at Bailey Lauerman in 2017. In the same year, they worked as a Freelance Creative at 72andSunny for a few months. From 2018 to 2021, Cary worked as a Freelance Creative Director/Writer for companies including 72andSunny, Preacher, Whirled, BBH LA, Leo Burnett, and Innocean. Cary is currently the Group Creative Director at INNOCEAN USA since 2020.

Cary Ruby earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA in 1995. From 1998 to 2000, Cary pursued a Masters of Science degree in Communications at VCU Brandcenter.
