Maurice van Tholen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Maurice'smost recent position was as the Co-founder and CEO of HeatLeap, a role they took on in 2020. Prior to this, Maurice worked at InnoTractor from 2019, where they held multiple roles including Partner, CMO, COO, and Business Developer.

Before joining InnoTractor, Maurice spent a significant portion of their career at Sony Electronics. At Sony, they served as the Product Marketing Director for the European region from 2015 to 2019. In this role, Maurice was responsible for B2C and B2B propositions in the European marketing organization for smartphones. Maurice also managed partnerships with game publishers and content providers and handled go-to-market planning and sell-in to top European mobile network providers and distributors.

Prior to their role at Sony Electronics, Maurice worked at Sony Mobile as the Area Business Director for Europe from 2009 to 2015. In this position, they optimized product business in European sales organizations and represented the European sales organization's business to the global category business management team. Maurice also served as the Director of Technical Account Management for Asia, leading technical marketing teams in various locations.

Before joining Sony Mobile, Maurice worked at Sony Ericsson in multiple roles. Maurice was the Head of Business Management for Technical Account Management in EMEA and APAC from 2007 to 2009. Prior to this, they served as a Commodity Manager for Advanced Technology Sourcing, where they focused on early involvement in sourcing advanced technology. Maurice also held the position of Software Sourcing Manager, where they established the new sourcing commodity SW Sourcing.

Maurice began their career at Ericsson Telecommunicatie B.V. where they worked as a Tactical Purchaser. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing contracts with IT suppliers and suppliers of consultancy. Maurice also played a role in the millennium bug project.

Overall, Maurice van Tholen has amassed extensive experience in leadership, marketing, operations, business development, and sourcing throughout their career.

Maurice van Tholen pursued their undergraduate education at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 1990 to 1997. During this time, they earned a degree in Business Administration / Bedrijfskunde with a specialization in Management of Technology and Innovation. Maurice'sacademic journey continued in 2014 when they enrolled at Middlesex University, where they completed a Masters degree in Professional Practice in Sales Transformation between 2014 and 2017.
