Maqbool Patel

Maqbool Patel has a long and varied work experience. Maqbool began their career in 2007 as Chief Information Officer at Circlesource Inc. In 2008 they moved to Technology Solutions Company as VP Software Development. In 2009 they joined Acuitec as SVP and CTO, where they were responsible for the overall vision of technology for the company and product road map. Maqbool also designed and developed a full suite of HL7 integration bundle for various HIS systems. In 2012 they moved to YourCareUniverse as VP Development and also became Founding Director and Information Security Officer at Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama. In 2015 they joined Vincari as CTO. In 2017 they became Adjunct Professor at Univeristy of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) - ECE Department. In 2020 they moved to Innova Zones as CTO. Currently, they are Chief Technology Officer at VitalEngine and will soon join Ship OGRE, LLC as Chief Technology Officer.

Maqbool Patel attended Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering. Maqbool then attended the University of Rhode Island from 1987 to 1988, studying Singal Processing. Finally, they attended Drexel University, where they earned a PhD in Computer Engineering.
