Andy Morrison

Andy Morrison has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Andy began their career at Canada Revenue Agency in 1980, where they worked as a Data Analyst, Database Administrator, Data Warehouse Manager, and eventually as a Manager. Andy then moved on to FinTRAC and BPO Solutions 2000 Inc, where they held positions as a Data Management Manager and a Data Warehouse Manager, respectively.

In 2007, Andy joined HRSDC, where they worked as a Project Manager within the IT Operational Excellence program. Andy was responsible for co-leading projects such as the Application Portfolio Management and Information Architecture initiatives. Andy continued in this position until 2009.

Andy then joined Innovapost in 2010 as a Senior IT Consultant, later transitioning to the role of Compliance Lead. Andy went on to hold various positions within the company, including Director of Compliance & Risk Management, Head of Audit, Governance and Compliance, and currently serves as the Head of External Compliance.

Alongside their work at Innovapost, Andy also worked at the Correctional Service of Canada in 2010 as the IM Program Blueprint Project Manager.

Throughout their career, Andy has demonstrated expertise in compliance, risk management, IT consulting, data architecture, and project management.

Andy Morrison earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, which they attended from 1979 to 1982. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including the "Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)" from (ISC)² in 2007, and "Delivering an Authentic Elevator Pitch," "Operational Excellence Foundations," and "Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts" from LinkedIn in 2020.
