Aslak Sverdrup

Aslak Sverdrup currently serves as the Director at Innovasjon Norge, focusing on sustainable growth and export for Norwegian businesses through expertise, capital, and networks. In addition, Aslak is a member of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission's Ocean Literacy Group of Experts, contributing to the development and monitoring of ocean literacy initiatives. Aslak holds leadership positions as President of Sportsklubben Brann and Chairman of the Board at BIR, along with prior roles including CEO of STIFTELSEN AKVARIET I BERGEN and Managing Director at Avinor. Educational qualifications include strategic leadership and security policy from Forsvarets høgskole, risk management from Buckinghamshire New University, and a degree from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy.
