Alyssa Rodriguez is a skilled Classical Radio Host at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council, where programming and hosting take place since November 2022. With extensive experience in music education, Alyssa has been a Violin and Fiddle Instructor at Kanack School of Musical Artistry since June 2016, teaching a diverse range of fiddle tunes to students from ages 4 to adult and offering private Suzuki lessons. Additionally, Alyssa operates as a Private Violin Teacher, focusing on individualized lesson plans and performance opportunities. Past roles include hosting a radio show at WAYO 104.3 FM, working as a Production Assistant and Blogger for WXXI, and completing a Fulbright research project on Nordic Folk Music. Alyssa holds a Master's degree in Folk Music from the University of the Arts Helsinki and a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Ithaca College.
