Emma Whettingsteel is a Project Lead at Innovation Unit since March 2023, with a robust academic background and extensive experience in interior architecture and design. Currently a Sessional Academic and PhD Candidate at Curtin University since February 2017, Emma has contributed to various projects including Aboriginal Environments Research, digital storytelling at Mogumber Mission, and sustainability initiatives like the 'Legacy Living Lab (L3)'. Previous roles include Senior Researcher and Researcher at Cox Architecture, Project Support at Northampton Old School Community Initiative Inc., Graduate Interior Designer at Woods Bagot, and Graduate Designer at Design Theory. Emma has also held positions at Curtin University that encompassed project support and housing assistance, as well as an internship as a Research Intern with the Western Australian Department of Parks and Wildlife. Emma earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Interior Architecture from Curtin University in 2020.
