Peter Erin

Peter Erin has over a decade of experience in the financial industry, specializing in data and analytics. Peter is currently a Senior Investment Associate at Innovation Works, where they help inform product and distribution strategy using asset and flow data. Prior to this, they were Director of Global Insights at Broadridge from January 2019 to January 2020. In this role, they published industry research on trends in the US asset management industry.

Before Broadridge, Peter worked at MSCI Inc. from January 2015 to December 2018 as Data & Analytics Sales. Peter won buy ratings from top-tier global investment consultants and positioned MSCI as the market standard for Global Equity Indexes, Factor Investing and ESG. Peter also led portfolio consulting projects to analyze OCIO and pension portfolios from a factor and ESG perspective.

Peter’s first role in the financial industry was at Mellon Capital from January 2008 to December 2015, where they led business case development and competitive analysis for new product development. Peter also rebranded the company’s flagship $2B asset allocation strategy in a total return framework and developed and launched the ESG and smart beta product suites. In addition, they created marketing content to position strategies, defend positions, and promote thought leadership.

Peter is an expert in Morningstar, eVestment and Bloomberg.

Peter Erin has a Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College in Mathematics & Economics. Peter also has a certification from Second City in Musical Improv, Improv, Writing & Acting. Peter has a Python Bootcamp from General Assembly in Python Bootcamp. Lastly, they have a Business Bridge Program from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in Business Bridge Program.
