Madalyn Burroughs

Madalyn Burroughs is an experienced Art Therapist at Innovations Academy since October 2018, where responsibilities include working with students with Special Education eligibilities to foster self-expression through various art techniques for improved mental well-being. Previous experience includes roles as a Receptionist at Chicago Ave Smiles and an Art Therapy Intern at Presence Health, where Madalyn provided individual and group therapy for stroke and cancer patients. Madalyn's education includes a Master's in Art Therapy and Counseling from Adler University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Art/Art Studies from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
