Melissa Perlman

Melissa Perlman has a diverse work experience in the education and technology sector. Melissa currently works as the Director of K12 Partnerships, Northeast at Chapter One US (formerly Innovations for Learning). Prior to this role, they served as a Strategic Account Executive at Marker Learning. Before that, they held the position of Sr. Sales Representative at Formative. Melissa also worked at Newsela, where they served as a Sr. Enterprise/Growth Representative and later as an Enterprise Sales Representative. Melissa has also worked as an Account Executive at Turnitin and as a Regional Account Specialist at ShowEvidence. Earlier in their career, Melissa worked as an Evaluation Consultant at both CTB/McGraw-Hill and CTB McGraw Hill, as well as a Sales Executive at Curriculum Advantage. Melissa'sfirst role in the industry was as a Partnership Development Manager at Educate Online.

Melissa Perlman earned a BA in Public Relations from Rider College (University) from 1986 to 1990. Before attending college, Melissa attended Pikesville High School. Melissa also completed additional certifications, including becoming a Certified 200 hour Prana Vinyasa(tm) Flow Yoga Teacher from the New Mexico School of Yoga, as well as obtaining certifications as a Restorative Yoga Teacher and in Trauma Sensitive Yoga from the Yogamour Healing Arts Center.
