Ernest Ostro

Ernest is an experienced IT professional and has experience in information management and technology strategies in order to further the organization's mission and increase efficiency. He has built global partnerships and teams at humanitarian and international development organizations throughout North America, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. He previously held a role as the Chief Information and Product Officer for Walking Doctors, Inc providing vital support and technology to health care professionals in Indonesia and Liberia. Prior to joining Walking Doctors, Inc, Ernest worked for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) as Director of Applications and at Pathfinder International as the Director of Information Systems Unit where he built and led teams to tackle technological challenges in global development. Ernest holds an MS in Conservation Biology and a BA in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He has held advisory board and council roles with Microsoft, TSI, UNICEF, and other nonprofits.
