Director Talent Development at Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT)

Marti Anderson has extensive work experience in talent development, leadership training, and instructional design. Martha "Marti" is currently serving as the Director of Talent Development at Innovative Defense Technologies. Prior to this, they held roles as a Talent Development Sr Leader at IDT and as a Sr Consultant, Practice Lead, and Business Partner at Wheelhouse Group.

Marti spent several years at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they worked as a Sr Manager in People Services, delivering eLearning strategies and products to a large employee population. Martha "Marti" also led performance consulting efforts and played a key role in shifting ethics and compliance training approaches.

Before that, Marti worked at Bechtel National Inc as an OD, Talent and Leadership Senior Manager for four years. Additionally, they had two stints at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they facilitated leadership development courses and served as an Organization and Strategy, Learning & Development Manager and Consultant for various government agencies.

Marti started their career at Accenture, where they held roles in leadership training, instructional design, and learning coaching. Martha "Marti" managed senior partners teaching critical skills and knowledge and integrated learning delivery with design and development teams.

Throughout their career, Marti has demonstrated expertise in talent development, instructional design, leadership training, and performance consulting.

Martha "Marti" Anderson, MS, SHRM-SCP, CPLP, ACC, CCMP, CSM has a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Drake University. Martha "Marti" also holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the same institution. Additionally, Marti has completed a program on Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being at George Mason University. Martha "Marti" has obtained several certifications including SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, Polarity Approach to Continuity and Transformation from Polarity Partnerships, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Learning Tree International, Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation, Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being from George Mason University, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci, Hogan Advanced Certification from Hogan Assessment Systems, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and MBTI from OKA (Otto Kroeger Associates). Furthermore, Marti holds the ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation.
