Paul S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Paul began their career at Raytheon Systems Company in 1997, where they worked as an MCS Engineer Senior, rehosting the SIFT pulse train deinterleaver for an embedded standalone computer system. After that, they joined btg in 1999 as a Senior Engineer, leading the Electronic Warfare (EW) Flagging support effort and maintaining the Electronic Warfare Flagging Analysis Expert System (EWFAES) components. In 2001, they moved to Titan Corporation and continued their role as a Senior Engineer, implementing and maintaining a new expert system for the Selectively Improved Flagging Technique (SIFT) Electronic Warfare (EW) Flagging support effort.
Paul then worked at L-3 Communications as a Senior Engineer from 2005 to 2009, leading a team in designing and developing a user interface for a command and control (C2) system. From 2009 to 2016, they worked at Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services, where they maintained and improved a career management system for the US Air Force personnel. During this time, they compartmentalized the code into separate sub-applications to handle military and civilian personnel rules.
In 2016, Paul joined A.G. Triplett & Associates as a System Administrator and Developer, where they developed and maintained a standalone database application and provided IT support. Paul then worked at Leidos as a Technical Lead from 2016 to 2019, guiding a team in maintaining the Air Force Fitness Management System (AFFMS) II. After that, they worked independently as a Semi-Retired Software Trench Architect from 2019 to 2021.
Most recently, Paul has been working at Falcon IT & Staffing Solutions and Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. from 2021 onwards as an SME Software Developer. Paul has been involved in enhancing and improving the Air Force Reliability and Maintenance Information System (REMIS) and providing technical assistance for incorporating modern software techniques and technologies into the application.
Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in software development, system maintenance, and leading development teams.
Paul S. attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1978 to 1982. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Paul S. has obtained several certifications. Paul completed the "Remote Work Foundations" certification from LinkedIn in April 2020. In June 2018, they obtained the "Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)" certification from (ISC)². Paul S. also holds certifications in Amateur Radio from the Federal Communications Commission and as a commercial, multi-engine instrument pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
