Rodney DeCarteret, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rodney is currently serving as the President and CEO of IMTS - Innovative Management & Technology Services, LLC (IMTS), a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, Rodney was the President of Cyber Defense Solutions, LLC (CDS), where they were responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives for new clients and accounts. During their time at CDS, they also served as the DHS, NCCIC USCERT Digital Analytics Branch Contractor Lead, Lead Security Engineer at US Senate SAA, Deputy Lead, Incident Response at DIA DCNDC, and Principal Forensic Analyst and Reverse Engineer at PENTCIRT.

Rodney also worked at Focused Cyber, LLC as a Member and Senior Executive from January 2017 to January 2019. Before that, they held the position of Principal Forensic Scientist at SGIS, where they led the Analytical Support and Coordination Branch and provided Tier 3 incident analysis support.

Prior to their roles at CDS, Focused Cyber, and SGIS, Rodney worked as the Principal IT Security Consultant at Intrusion Stoppers, Inc., where they also acted as a business development and staffing consultant. Rodney started their career at Northrop Grumman as the Lead Security Analyst, focusing on cyber trend analysis and report writing.

Rodney has also served in the US Army in various roles, including Communications Engineer / Shift Supervisor (335th TSC), NCOIC of I2DAT-C (NEIOC), and Technical Supervisor. Additionally, they have experience as a Project Supervisor/Manager at East Coast Cable & COMM and Alcatel Corporation.

With their extensive background in cybersecurity and leadership positions, Rodney brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role as President and CEO at IMTS.

Rodney DeCarteret, MBA began their education journey at Central Texas College in 1999. Rodney pursued an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Applied Technology and completed the program in 2004. Subsequently, they attended Bellevue University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Information Systems. In 2006, Rodney enrolled at George Mason University and studied there until 2008, taking courses towards a Master of Science (MS) degree in Telecom, Forensics & Security.

In 2011, Rodney pursued further education at Western Governors University and successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in IT Management in 2013.
