Darren Bowden

Darren Bowden is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded systems and software design. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Innovative Technology Ltd since July 2017, Darren has previously held significant roles at SmarDTV and EchoStar Corporation, focusing on the development of software for digital set-top boxes across various global markets. With a strong background in Embedded C, C++, and Java, Darren has also taken on Scrum Master responsibilities. Earlier in their career, roles at ADI - Advanced Digital Institute involved firmware development for broadband modem controllers, while a long tenure at Protec Fire Detection PLC saw contributions to high-end fire detection and protection solutions. Educational credentials include a BSc (Hons) in Electronics from the University of Central Lancashire.
