Drew Lewis

Drew Lewis currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Development and Research at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2023, following their role as Vice President of Clinical Development at Entasis Therapeutics from June 2021 to December 2022. Prior to this, Drew Lewis held various significant positions at Viatris, including Head of Global Medical Portfolio Support & Digital Excellence, and at Pfizer for nearly two decades, where responsibilities encompassed Product Evaluation and leading medical affairs in infectious diseases, vaccines, and ophthalmology. Earlier in Drew Lewis's career, positions included Associate Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb focusing on antibacterial clinical development and Medical Director at Community Health Network's HIV clinic. Drew Lewis began a medical career in the US Navy as a Commander in the Medical Corps. Educational credentials include an MD from the UAB Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine, a degree in Tropical Medicine from the Uniformed Services University, and a BS in Biology and Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College.
