Yair Greenberg

Yair Greenberg is an experienced R&D Mechanical Engineer, currently serving as the Mechanical Engineer Team Leader at Innoviz Technologies since October 2020, specializing in opto-mechanics. Prior roles include Lead Mechanical Engineer at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems from 2013 to October 2020, focusing on the development of optical systems including IR/VIS sensors and high-power laser systems, as well as mentoring new employees. Yair's earlier experience includes R&D Mechanical Engineer at Linum Systems, where involvement in hybrid solar air-conditioning technology occurred, and a Mechanical Engineering Intern position at InspireMD. Further foundational experience at the Ramot Group involved software development using VBA and Visual C#. Yair began a career in the Israeli Navy, leading a team in naval ship mechanics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
