Yangbo Du

Yangbo Du has extensive work experience in various roles within different companies. Since 2020, they have been serving as the CEO of INNOVO, where they are leading the Profitable Net Zero Partnership for the United States. Prior to this, they held positions such as Chief Technology Officer and Managing Partner - Investments at INNOVO. Before joining INNOVO, Yangbo Du worked as a Corporate Entrepreneur and Marketing Affiliate. In 2023, they also worked as a Consultant at AIOU. In 2022, they served as the Head of Outreach at Effective Transit Alliance. Yangbo Du has been involved in sustainable development and energy sector initiatives, having held roles such as General Partner at Sustainable Development Investment Finance Partnership for New York and Sustainability Mentor at Cleantech Open. Yangbo has also played key roles in organizations focused on social change, like New York Energy Week and +SocialGood (Social Good Summit). Additionally, Yangbo Du has served as a Board Member - North America at TravelSpirit Foundation and as a Founding Advisory Partner at Visionary.

Yangbo Du's education history is as follows:

Yangbo Du attended the School of Visual Arts in 2012 as a StartingBloc NY'12 Social Innovation Fellow, where they focused on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies.

From 2008 to 2011, Yangbo Du studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a BSc(Econ) degree. Their field of study included political economy, development and planning studies, and system dynamics.

Prior to attending MIT, Yangbo Du obtained a diploma from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in 2008, with a focus on liberal arts and sciences.

In 2007, Yangbo Du participated in a public policy workshop at the Keystone Center for Science and Public Policy, specifically focusing on energy and environmental policy.

In 2011, Yangbo Du pursued further education at Harvard University, completing a post-baccalaureate program. The program encompassed economics, management, and sustainability.

In addition to their formal education, Yangbo Du has obtained various certifications. These include a certification in Smart Cities for Global Frontier Infrastructure (Virtual Knowledge Exchange) from the World Bank Group in May 2022, Analyzing, Screening and Prioritizing Public-Private Partnerships in Infrastructure from the World Bank Group in April 2022, and the Global Course on Negotiating Trade Agreements for Trade in Times of Crisis and Pandemic from the United Nations ESCAP in December 2021.
