Quan Wang

Quan Wang has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Quan started their career in 1992 as a Software Engineer at Neusoft, where they worked on software development of embedded operating systems for car navigation systems. In 1995, they joined UTStarcom, Inc. as a Senior IT Engineer, where they worked on Internet services integration projects and servers administration. In 2009, they became an Independent Consultant and combined requirements from company management and personal experience on IT area to establish IT environments for offices in San Francisco and Richland, WA. From 2010 to 2016, they were the IT Manager at GCL Solar Energy, Inc., where they managed IT environments to meet business expansion needs, planned and controlled IT budgets, and oversaw IT operations. From 2016 to 2018, they were the IT Manager at GCL New Energy, Inc., where they managed IT environments relocation due to the office move from San Francisco, CA to San Ramon, CA. Currently, they are the IT Manager at Gyrfalcon Technology Inc., where they are responsible for Linux server installation, administration, software tool management, NIS configuration updates, and developer environment installation.

Quan Wang attended Northeastern University (CN) from 1985 to 1992 and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Application.
