INODE is a leading information technology (IT) professional services Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in data services for federal agencies. We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator II to join our team supporting the United States Air Force Information Network. Our team ensures the availability of an effective worldwide, fixed-base, high-speed, high-capacity, reliable, and secure digital communications infrastructure and provides the Warfighter with full access to real-time Command and Control (C2) information for day-to-day operations and contingencies. This is a salaried position, full-time, onsite at Peterson SFB and REQUIRES an active Secret Security Clearance and active CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Job Duties:

  • Perform system and system compliance with Technical Orders (TOs)

  • Perform daily server operations, management and maintenance

  • Provide daily support for system end users

  • Conducts system troubleshooting and general maintenance including backup and restoration tasks and monthly patching across multiple systems

  • Reports all issues, problems and faults of the system to the AFNet Response Center (ARC)

  • Skills in performing in-depth support, administrative functions, and performance management for data storage controllers

  • Implement and maintain high-availability controller configurations

  • Work with various teams as needed for tasks

  • Understand STIG compliance and process

  • Troubleshoot technology issues, using various internal and external resources

  • Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems

  • Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes for assigned tasks and projects

  • Follow policies and procedures for change and incident management

  • Perform duties onsite for a standard 8hr day shift

Education and Experience:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required

  • Active CompTIA Security + Certification w/ Continuing Education Enrollment required

  • 5-8 years industry experience

  • 4+ years of System Administration preferred

  • 3+ years working ESXi administration experience necessary

  • 2+ year working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later versions

  • Solid trouble solving skills

  • Have a general knowledge of systems and network technologies

  • NetApp NAS/SAN configuration and deployment experience a plus

  • SAN switch configuration experience (Brocade/Cisco) a plus

  • Enterprise level VMware integration experience required

  • Understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) routing, switching, and the OSI model a plus

Salary Band - $70,000 - $80,000
