Cristina Saiani has a long history of professional experience. Cristina began their career in 1999 as the Competitive and Marketing Intelligence Manager for Latin America at Philips. In this role, they led a team of 5 marketing specialists and 50 third party consultants and researchers to monitor and track the company's competitiveness against key rivals in the marketplace. Cristina delivered regular intelligence reports to the board and was consistently classified amongst the top 10 Marketing Managers within the organisation. In 2002, they founded and became the Executive Director of Atina Ativos Naturais Ltda, a start up venture based on successful research into the use of Natural tree oil. Cristina developed the initial business plan and strategy to bring the product to market, pitching to potential investors to secure a $3M first round of funding with an additional $2M second round. Cristina was also responsible for farm negotiation and acquisition as well as development of the factory itself. In 2016, they became the Country Manager at INOLEX.

Cristina Saiani completed their Bachelor's Degree in Agronomic Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 1985 and 1990. In 1994, they completed a course in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2000, they completed a course in Finance, General from Ibmec and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Science, Technology & Innovation from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. In 2001, they completed a course in Export and Import from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2010, they completed a Post Graduate in Corporate Finance from FECAP.
