Fatuma Barqadle

Fatuma Barqadle is a distinguished Pediatric Hospitalist currently serving at Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital since January 2022 and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medical Education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Barqadle previously worked as an Attending Physician and Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellow at Children's Hospital Los Angeles from July 2017 to July 2021, while also serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California during the same timeframe. Prior experience includes a Pediatric Residency at Inova Health System from 2014 to June 2017. Barqadle’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, a Master’s of Academic Medicine from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University College of Public Health.
