Chen WANG

Chen WANG started their professional career in 2010 as an Operative at Schneider Electric. In 2012, they took an Intern position at EADS-China Astrium. Chen then attended Ecole Centrale de Lyon from 2013 to 2015, and participated in a Hackathon 24h at fHACKtory in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amadeus and AVISTO. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Alstom, and in 2019 they became a Lead Software Engineer at Inova.io. At Inova.io, they interacted actively with the Software Development Director and Product Managers to plan and deliver features with technical challenges. Theirresponsibilities included deep analysis in early-stage features, establishing internal technical standards with Software Architects, knowledge sharing with other Software Engineers, and continuously helping to improve API health and data model architecture. Theirtechnical stack included Java/JEE with Spring Framework, DevOps and CI/CD workflow, Unit test & Automatic tests, Docker, and Data Intelligence.

Chen WANG completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from École Centrale de Pékin between 2006 and 2010. Following this, they obtained a Diplome d'ingenieur generaliste in Informatique from Ecole Centrale de Marseille between 2009 and 2011. Chen then earned a Master's degree in Pattern Recognition and Image Processing, machine learning from Beihang University between 2011 and 2013. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Smart City, Internet of Things, Smart Transportation, Human Computer Interaction from Ecole centrale de Lyon between 2013 and 2016.
