Claude Basset has an extensive work experience spanning 30 years. In 1990, they co-founded ATS (Advanced Trauma Systems) as the Managing Director. In 1993, they joined IQVIA as Head of Marketing and Strategy to launch IDRAC, a novel regulatory intelligence solution. Claude was later promoted to Head of Operations and Development and then General Manager. In 2001, they were appointed CEO of IDRAC, leading the business through a spin-off from IMS HEALTH. Under their leadership, the business achieved double-digit growth in the global market with exceptional customer satisfaction and profitability. In 2004, they joined Thomson Reuters as Vice President Product Management and Go to Market. Claude was later promoted to Vice President Customer Strategy and Operations, Vice President Content Strategy, and Vice President of Strategic Marketing. In 2010, they became the Director of Advocacy for the European Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. In 2017, they joined Clarivate as Global Head of Product Management, Life Sciences. In this role, they led the growth acceleration of the core product portfolio through implementation of product management best practices, transformation of technologies, and coordination of global go-to-market strategies. In 2020, they were appointed Chief Product Officer at Inova.

Claude Basset obtained an MBA from INSEAD in 1992. Claude also attended ESC Clermont Business School. In 2021, they received an edX Verified Certificate for The Science and Business of Biotechnology from edX. In 2020, they received a Certificate for Blockchain: Understanding its Uses and Implications from The Linux Foundation.
