Simona Catana, MBA

Simona Catana, MBA has a wealth of work experience. Starting in 2005, they co-founded and ran a successful publishing and events company, Media District, as Chief Commercial Officer. In 2011, they moved to the Centre for Conflict Prevention and Early Warning as Marketing and Partnerships Manager. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Marketing and Business Development Manager at The Bar Council of England and Wales. In 2018, they joined Clarivate Analytics as a Senior Sales Consultant / Account Manager / Business Development. In 2020, they began their Executive MBA Candidate program at ESMT Berlin. Currently, they are the Senior Business Development Manager EMEA at Inova.io and the Head of Sales for a consultancy working with ESG and digital health start-ups.

Simona Catana, MBA has a comprehensive education history. Simona obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and PR from Scoala Nationala de Studii Politice si Administrative (SNSPA) between 2004 and 2009. Simona then obtained a BSc(Psych) in Psichology from Universitatea “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași between 2000 and 2004. Simona then obtained a Master's degree in European Studies/ European integration from Université Paris 8 between 2011 and 2013. Simona is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from ESMT Berlin, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Simona has also completed short courses in Conflict Transformation from Hitotsubashi ICS (Hitotsubashi University Business School), Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan School of Management, Business for Social Impact and Sustainable Development from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, and various certifications from LinkedIn, Coursera, and HubSpot Academy.
