Sougato Das

Sougato Das has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sougato is currently the General Manager of Event & Data at Inova.io since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Life Sciences & Event Information & Software Executive for an undisclosed company starting from January 2023. From October 2019 to January 2023, they were the Vice President at PRISM.science.

Before joining PRISM.science, Sougato served as the Vice President of Product Management at Pharmaspectra from April 2017 to October 2019. At Pharmaspectra, they led business strategy, product management, and development of new products. Sougato was also part of the team that sold Pharmaspectra to private equity.

From July 2016 to April 2017, Sougato held the position of Managing Director of Partnering & Business Development at Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). Sougato was responsible for heading the partnering activities at BIO, facilitating collaborations between biotechs, biopharmas, investors, academia, patient groups, governments, and service providers. Prior to that, they were the Director of Partnering & Business Development at BIO from September 2013 to June 2016.

Sougato's previous roles include Product Manager at Clarivate Analytics from September 2008 to September 2013, Product Manager at PAREXEL's Liquent unit from September 2005 to September 2008, and Senior Consultant at DXC Technology from August 1996 to August 2001.

Before joining DXC Technology, Sougato worked as an independent consulting Product Management and Business Analysis Consultant at Das Services from February 2002 to August 2005.

Sougato Das holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. Sougato also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Science from Penn State Great Valley. In addition to their degrees, Sougato has obtained a certification in Pragmatic Marketing from Pragmatic Marketing institution.
